Welcome New CAL Member Karen Gallob

Gallob KarenKaren Gallob is a rancher and anthropologist as well as a writer. She taught several years at Metro State in Denver. She’s particularly interested in the relationships among language, culture and human perceptions of reality. Her PhD thesis was A Study of Humor in Mauritius, complete with jokes in Creole, Bhojpurl, Hindi, and French. She wrote the “Carpe Diem in the Crawford Outback” series for the North Fork Merchant Herald from 2001 to 2005.  She’s currently working on a sequel to her cozy mystery, All the Bad Stuff Comes in Threes.
