Matt Schild gives the CAL board something it has needed for some time — a voice and perspective outside the I-470 ring. Oh, and need I point out his hair isn’t gray, either? Matt, one of six new members on the board, is the new editor of InPrint and has already made several trips from his home in Fort Collins. After growing up in Lakewood and graduating from Colorado State, Matt became a freelance writer specializing in the music and entertainment scene. His music-rooted web site Aversion.com had a good run from 1999 to 2010. Now he also does copywriting, has finished his first novel, and is working on a second — thrillers straight from today’s music culture. Asked what CAL members might expect from his vision for InPrint: “I’d like to produce stuff that’s worth their time. From tips on craft to marketing to jobs … I’d like it to be something that when it comes out, people look forward to reading it.”
“Meet Your CAL Board” will be a regular series of blog posts to introduce you to the new CAL Board – stay tuned for the next installment!
