It’s no mystery why Christine Goff has served on one writing board or another in Colorado since 2008. Everyone wants her. Her ideas. Her contacts. Her energy. Author of five mystery titles, she is beginning her second stint on CAL’s board, this year as co-Vice President of Programs with Denny Dressman. In 2008 she chaired CAL’s Writing Awards contest. In between, she held numerous positions on the board of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, including conference chair. She served as program coordinator for Colorado Humanities the last two years when she helped establish its successful public reading event for Colorado Book Awards finalists. The Evergreen writer just sold her backlist of bird watching-themed mysteries for digital and print distribution. For someone who has been around awards programs so much, Christine just might find herself in one very soon–she just finished her first international thriller set in Israel.
“Meet Your CAL Board” is a regular series of blog posts to introduce you to the new CAL Board – stay tuned for the next installment!
