Jeffrey B. Miller’s recently published book, Behind the Lines: WWI’s little-known story of German occupation, Belgian resistance, and the band of Yanks who helped save millions from starvation.(Milbrown Press, trade paperback) has earned a Kirkus Star Review. The Washington Post reports that only about 760 books out of the 10,000 annually reviewed by Kirkus are given a Star Review. Miller was humbled by the review’s last sentence: “An excellent history that should catapult Miller to the top tier of popular historians.” The full review can be found at www.kirkusreviews.com. On October 1st, Miller will be launching a three-month aggressive national marketing/PR campaign for the book. The book’s website is at www.WWIBehindTheLines.com.
