Denny Dressman can add “master moderator” to his long list of credits in just two years service in the Colorado Authors’ League. In addition to acting as co-VP/Programs for the second year, he skillfully moderated September’s first program before a packed room. Denny doesn’t just join an organization; he takes it on like a knight galloping to a Crusade. Last year he also launched CAL’s book booth at Holiday Mart and helped create the Lifetime Achievement and Authors Advocate special awards. He’s a lifelong “idea man,” drawing from a rich personal portfolio: career newspaper journalist, human resources administrator, author or editor of seven books, and writing coach. And just ask him: he probably also has ideas how to turn the Rockies into winners and fix Tiger’s golf swing.
