CAL Award Winners to Read at CAL Conference

calcon_logo-01Colorado Authors’ League Book Award recipients will share readings from their award winning books and offer their books for sale at CAL CON, this weekend’s Colorado Association of Libraries Convention at the Embassy Suites hotel, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, in Loveland. The schedule for readings is:

Friday, October 17th
11-11:30 Gail Storey: I Promise Not to Suffer (Adult Creative Non-fiction)
11:30-12:00 Michael Madigan: Double Dare (Adult Fiction)
1:30 to 2:00 Steven Berger: Ursula’s Yahrtzeit Candle (Adult Fiction)
2:30 to 3:00 Gary Raham: The Dinosour’s Last Shore (Children’s Fiction)
3 to 3:30 Nancy Peterson: Not to be Forgiven (Adult Fiction)
3:30 to 4:00 Todd Mitchell: Backwards (Young Adult)

Saturday, October 18th
9:45 to 10:15 M.J. Evans: North Mystic (Middle-Grade Fantasy)
10:15 to 10:45 Peg Brantley: The Sacrifice (Adult Fiction)
10:45 to 11:14 Pat Postek: Bandit, The Chihuahua (Children’s Fiction)

CAL authors have also donated books to be given away during the conference to help promote Colorado Authors’ League.
