Linda Osmundson Honored at the Western Heritage Awards

how the west was drawn women's artLinda Osmundson attended the Western Heritage Awards in Oklahoma City at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. This is the Academy Awards of Western music, literature, film and TV. She received the Wrangler, a sculpture by Harold Holden, with a brass plaque honoring her How the West Was Drawn: Women’s Art as the 2014 Outstanding Juvenile book. John Wayne’s daughter Melinda, and Joel McCrea’s grandson Wyatt presented her award.
