Jeffrey B. Miller on C-SPAN’s American History TV

behind the linesSunday, July 26, at 4 p.m. MDT, C-SPAN’s American History TV will air four presentations from a June 20 symposium, “WWI and the Humanitarian Awakening,” which was hosted by the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library in West Branch, Iowa. One of the presenters was CAL member Jeffrey B. Miller, who spoke about WWI’s Commission for Relief in Belgium, his Belgian grandmother, and his nonfiction book, Behind the Lines: The little-known story of German occupation, Belgian resistance, and the band of Yanks who helped save millions from starvation. Once the program has aired, it will be posted on American History TV’s website, http://www.c-span.org/History/
