Heather Sappenfield’s fiction has won the Danahy Fiction Prize and the Arthur Edelstein Prize. It has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and been a finalist for the Flannery O’Connor Award. She has an MFA in Writing from Pacific University. Her debut novel The View From Who I Was was nominated for the Boston Globe Horn Book Award. Her second novel Life at the Speed of Us released in January 2016. She is a Colorado native and lives in Vail.
