Holly Arnold Kinney is the author of a young reader’s book, Sissy Bear at The Fort (2016), a charming and true story of the author’s pet bear who lived at the famous Colorado landmark, The Fort restaurant, from 1963-1982. The book contains original photographs and is beautifully illustrated by Christine Wald. Ms. Kinney also wrote the award-winning cookbook, Shinin’ Times at The Fort (2010), and re-published her father’s 10-week PBS TV show on DVD’s along with a companion cookbook Frying Pans West (2011). All three books are published by Fur Trade Press, LLC., Ms. Kinney’s publishing company. Ms Kinney is also the proprietress of the Fort restaurant and Executive Director of the Tesoro Cultural Center. Ms. Kinney will be signing books at the Mountains and Plains Booksellers show October 6th at the reception, and October 7th from 10:30am to 12:30 pm, at the booth of her representative, Derek Lawrence Imprint Group.
