David Jessup to Speak at Colorado Author’s Day Event

Posted on October 17, 2016 | in Member News | by

david-jessupFive local authors, including Colorado Author’s League member David M. Jessup, are speaking at the Colorado Authors’ Day on November 5 in Colorado Springs. Jessup will discuss the interplay between fact and fiction in his award-winning first novel, Mariano’s Crossing, along with a newly released prequel, Mariano’s Choice, featuring photos of legendary mountain man Mariano Medina.
According to NY Times bestselling author Anne Hillerman, the book “shines brightly” because of a vulnerable, wily, complicated protagonist, and is “highly recommended.” The event is sponsored by the Colorado Springs Branch of the American Association of University Women, which uses the event proceeds for scholarships. Tickets are $60, including lunch, and can be obtained at coloradosprings-co.aauw.net. Location is the Doubletree by Hilton, 1775 E. Cheyenne Mt. Blvd. in Colorado Springs. The session lasts from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
