World Science Fiction Convention, Colorado Convention Center. This is the granddaddy science fiction convention among all of them and includes the announcement of the Hugo Awards. Last year it was in Japan and it's been held across the country and around the world since 1939, except during World War II. Denver hosted it previously in 1941 and 1981.
