Bio:

Jerry S. Drake is a semi-retired creator of film and video non-theatrical productions.  He is a native Missourian and English-major graduate of Drury College (University) in Springfield, Missouri. In his career, he has written, directed and edited more than 2,000 film, video, and audio-visual productions for advertising, educational, corporate and industrial clients.  Drake spent 20 years in the Public Relations Department of the Denver-based telephone company, as an assistant editor and article writer for an employee magazine, and was instrumental in setting up the company’s employee information video studio.  Taking an early retirement, he returned to the commercial video production field as a writer-director-producer.  Turning to fiction in retirement, in addition to his four western novels published by a venerable New York publishing firm, Drake has published two action-adventure novels, Southbound and Schooner.  He recently completed a new novel, TreasureCanyon, an original western story with a few characters and the treasure-hunt premise “borrowed” from Robert Lewis Stevenson’s Treasure Island.
