Her essays, Heresies of the Holy and Of Wind and Fire have been finalists for the 7th and 8th Annual Fourth Genre Steinberg Essay Prize. Her essay, Elegies, was a finalist for the University of New Orleans Study Abroad Programs in Arts and Writing Writing Contest.
