Bio:
Janet Henderson Schoniger began her professional writing career as a news reporter in her home state of Rhode Island. She spent 25 years as a corporate communications executive for a multi-billion dollar financial institution based in Denver. Today she is a freelance writer-photographer and communications consultant. Her work has been published in EnCompass AAA Colorado, Rocky Mountain Gardening, Colorado Parent, Zone4 and US Airways Magazine. She is the mother of two grown sons and lives in Centennial with her husband, Mike, and their adopted dog, Abbey.

Bio:
Michele Morris is the chef and owner of Cooking with Michele®, where she offers private cooking lessons for both adults and children, leads cooking dinner parties, teaches food and wine pairing, leads food and wine tours in Italy, and publishes both a food and travel blog. Michele dedicates much of her time to several philanthropic endeavors in the food community. She teaches healthy cooking and nutrition to families on limited budgets for Cooking Matters Colorado, she helps prepare nutritious meals to improve quality of life for clients of Project Angel Heart who are coping with life-threatening illness, she teaches basic kitchen skills to disadvantaged women at Work Options for Women to help them gain employment in a commercial kitchen, she teaches cooking classes to school children across the front range as part of Slow Food Denver’s Seed to Table Alliance for school gardens, and she is a participating home gardener for Produce for Pantries.
